Miltonduff

1824 in der Speyside gegründet.
Wie bei Glenburgie (dort 1958) installierte man hier 1964 zwei „Lomond-Stills“ (eine Variante der Pot-Stills, in der man durch kleine technische Modifikationen unterschiedliche Malts produzieren kann).
In diesen Lomond-Stills wurde von 1964 bis 1981 der Malt mit dem Namen Mosstowie hergestellt.
Der Malt gelangte schon damals selten in den Handel, er wurde und wird ausschließlich von Gordon & MacPhail, Duncan Taylor und Signatory abgefüllt.
 
Miltonduff ist ein malziges Mittelgewicht und Hauptbestandteil in den Blends von Ballantine's.
